About me
For me, financial planning is a personal story. It’s to use what I know to help people grow, to protect what they have and who they hold dear. I see my job is to encourage people to think about how they’d like to live their lives, what they’d like to achieve and what satisfies them; to think about their family and their friendships, and about the legacy they’d like to leave. By identifying these important elements in life, we can work to make them happen. In doing this we create an ecosystem that sustains us. We can feel safe when we understand what we want and how to go about it. It’s this clarity that empowers and satisfies.
I also realise that my value to my clients is in who I am and the judgement I bring to their cause. I have a lifetime’s experience advising successful businesses and families. I work with my client’s other professionals – accountants, bankers, lawyers and insurance experts to arrange and co-ordinate their strategies. This maturity helps to guide your decisions and avoid the potential pitfalls that confront you daily. As a result, I constantly witness how my advice has helped my clients through the years – through thick and thin, heartache and celebration. And in return my clients have been my greatest supporters.
My experience and training cover asset structures and tax, asset protection, estate and succession planning, retirement, superannuation, life insurance and investment.
